Who Can Foster?
Anyone can become a foster carer as long as you are over 21, have a spare bedroom and can provide safety, stability and hope. In addition to this, you should ideally be in good health and be able to drive.
Why Become a Foster Carer?
It's rewarding - but don't just take our word for it, read our carer stories.
It transforms lives - fostering not only transforms your life but it transforms the young people's lives too. Read our children's testimonials here.
The Fostering Network reports that there are 68,000 looked after children in England, and a further 6,800 foster families are needed.
By looking after a cared for child and welcoming them into your nest you could help support a young person, whilst gaining skills and a new purpose. You'll get a fantastic package, including support, benefits and training which will give you confidence and the tools you need to foster.
