Anchor Foster Care – Vision & Passion – Our vision is the same as it has always been, which is to provide children with safety, stability and hope.
We believe a secure base is a critical aspect of enabling children and young people to realise their full potential. We do this by ensuring that we have the right carers to match with our children. In addition, we provide regular activities for the children where they can meet up with the other children in our care. This, in turn, creates a new family with Anchor.
In order to provide children and young people with the safety, stability and hope they need, we need carers that share our vision and passion.
Along with our child-centered vision, we also believe that carer support should be at the forefront. We value our carers and know that their hard work is what helps our children and young people to grow.
Our committed foster carers and their families, our hardworking staff and the wider “Anchor family” have helped us to remain a child/young person-centred fostering service with a family feel. Without your help, we would not be the agency we are. It is the friendly family feel that makes us what we are and has created the big Anchor family.
