Ofsted Report 2018
Between Monday 8th October and Friday 12th October 2018 Anchor Foster Care was inspected by Ofsted, receiving an overall rating of 'good'.
Ofsted, who examine service providers like Anchor, aim to attain high standards of care and protection for looked after children, as well as other areas.
In the report that followed our 2018 inspection, Ofsted had this to say about Anchor:
"Foster carers provide consistency, stability, security, support and a good quality of care to the
children who live with them, and most children remain in placement for several years.
Leaders, managers, staff and foster carers collectively celebrate and recognise children’s and young people’s achievements. They are also quick to address new concerns that arise and changes in children’s needs, requesting a review as required.”
