Every year The Fostering Network take October to celebrate the sons and daughters of foster carers. Sons and Daughters do a remarkable job in supporting the foster children. That is why it's important to acknowledge the support they provide. They welcome a foster child into the family and often form a bond with them.
We wanted to find out more from the children of foster carers. So, to celebrate we spoke to the children of foster carers.
We asked the sons and daughters to share with us what their favourite part of being in a fostering family is. The answers are varied but they all have a favourite reason for being part of a fostering family. Some have even learnt from the experience of being part of a foster family.
